your health and wellness.
These Seven Pillars are:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational therapy provides treatment to help you return to engagement in meaningful and purposeful activities for living a rich and productive life. OTs provide treatment for the occupations of living such as work, sleep, play, household management, parenting, effective management of medications, leisure activities and spiritual practice. OTs work with clients to determine strengths and limitations and provide guidance for setting goals for health, recovery and greater independence for living an optimal life. Difficulties in any life role can affect one's psychological, social and physical well-being and OTs can provide biopsychosocial treatment approach for many conditions which may limit healing from a serious illness or trauma. OTs are specialists in self management skills and helping to create strategies to live a purposeful and productive life. Individualized assessments provide a blueprint for designing a treatment plan to help you explore and set your goals, engage your interests and desires and live a full life of quality and purpose.Occupational Therapists are healthcare practitioners who are certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and licensed in the state in which they practice. OTs must obtain continuing education to maintain certification and licensure throughout their careers and have a broad range of practice areas from which to choose.
